Among them is Jeremiah; a quiet twenty-two-year-old who really doesn't want to fight. His father thinks being a soldier honorable, no matter what the case. So Jeremiah is signed up and sent to America. Then he quite literally runs into Mariah, and the two are falling for eachother. But loving one on the other end of the battlefield is dangerous, and the two soon find themselves in the middle of the Boston Massacre. Jeremiah and Mariah must pick their way out of the colony's mess, but getting involved in a country's prejudice can get ugly.
