Why Me? (A Mermaid Story)
Melody was just like any normal teen. Well unless you count her having one parent, an abusive father, and being mute. Finally away from her father she does the only thing she can think of........swims. Her life become even crazier when she is turned into a mermaid. Meet Trenton, the prince and line to the throne. Melody becomes a much needed bride. He slowly earns her trust, but there is one problem Damien. Now meet Damien, a simple bakery guy. With a younger sister and no parents. He saves Melody and comes to love her more than anything. Lastly meet Ryan, a spunky and crazy girl. Being Damien's sister she becomes best friends with Melody. Both girls have a awful past and connect mentally unlike any other pair of friends. What nobody realizes is that almost everybody is under a spell. Ever since Melody came one person has hoped to make her queen more than anyone. One person is hurting Melody's love for Damien and turning it into love for Trenton. Coming into the human world was definitely not my idea but I had no choice. I am the mermaid princess of the North American seas. The most powerful water monster had taken both my tail and my powers. In order to restore them and defeat him, I needed to find and gather the remaining 6 mermaid princess from each continent. We needed our tails and powers back in order to save the ocean from him but there is one main problem. If we tell a human we are a mermaid we immediately die and turn into water so we can't just go around and ask everybody if they were mermaids. The only times when humans can know that we are mermaids is if they find out themselves that we are mermaids. The seven mermaid princess must find each other by mermaid clues and looks. Can they join together in time to defeat the most powerful demon or will they all perish? Twisted in this story is romance and well you will find out.Complete

Pale has never loved swimming or the beach, I mean yeah she would do it, but this change in attitude scares her. It not until a matter of time until she goes into the ocean and finds herself a mermaid. 14 year old Pearl has been a mermaid for her whole life. She has always lived with her mom and older sister. But one day, during a big storm, Pearl gets separated from her mother and older sister, and Pearl finds herself closer to the human world. It's not until a matter of time until these two mermaids meet and become friends. But when Pale gives Pearl a taste of a surfing competition at the human world, Pale discovers the truth that she is missing and people are preparing a reward for the people who find her.
