How it all began.

My name is Neko Green, Neko as in Japanese for cat. I'm not considered "normal", why? There's only one reason, I have cat ears and a cat tail. I go to school just like any other kid. I am good at math, and I have average grades. It was a normal day until I got a letter for something called "The Tournament of Elements." It's like something that would come from Harry Potter or The Lion, The witch and the wardrobe. It's like a hyped up Hunger Games. You get a partner, but you don't get to choose them, then you compete in rounds that are all different. It could be a race through a maze, a totally epic chef off, with tuna salad and little tuna pie, and you could get into a dangerous sword fight. The list can go on and on.
The people who run the tournament are Haru and his assistant Liv. I was so shocked, not because I got invited, but because Liv knew where I lived, my name, my power, my parents names. They even knew what I looked like. Freakishly long, brown hair, brown eyes, 4'8 in height, my weight, how long my tail was. I have never even met these people. How did they even know how long my tail was? I didn't even know how long my tail was. Anyway, they gave me a letter that explained where to go to get to the place of the tournament. I have to take the train #37 at the train station near the city, but I'm not sure I want to go. This is how it all happened...
