This book is based off of Post Plague Kidnapping. I encourage you to read it! It's probably one of my all time favorite books here on Wattpad. So I hope you enjoy this story!
Artemis has been on her own for a long time, 4 years to be exact. She was 14 when the plague started and watched everyone she loved die. She avoids other survivors but seeks out company through the form of animals which results in her acting wild and unmanageable towards other humans. She works hard though and is smart and strong. She's happy to be by herself, but her mental state isn't perfect after she lost everything at such a young age.
Atlas has spent the last 4 years working hard to build a colony for survivors alongside his friend James. He works tirelessly to save the human population and travels with a group to find more survivors to join the colony. As he and his group explore the mountainous area where Artemis is, she learns the hard way that her time of being free is up, and that he will not let her go. Even if it kills her.

Poseidon calls in a debt with Artemis to protect Percy when he is 6, and Artemis agrees reluctantly, and until he is 12, she protects him, honoring the debt, and does this by taking the form of a 6 year old mortal, and they become friends, which Artemis never expected. This makes their eventual separation when Percy turns twelve all the more painful. Artemis reveals her true form to him after he saves her from Mount Othrys, no longer being able to stay away from someone who'd become her closest friend and the two grow close once again. Eventually, a series of unexpected events occur, and a new threat is on the rise, and Percy is forced back into the divine world, and this threat makes the previous wars seem like the good old days. At times I know I've made pacing either too fast, or too slow, and things may seem rushed, or that they take forever, but I've done my best to write this as well as I could, this is also the first story I've written in First Person POVs, swapping mainly between Artemis and Percy, occasionally with other characters where it's relevant. Also this story is way longer than I intended it to be initially, mostly because I didn't have a plan, and also because after a certain point I just began saying "You know what? Fuck it. Why not" and adding a lot of stuff, so yeah there's a lot of different sub plots and storylines within this story, that's pretty much the main reason it's so long, I've done my best to make sure there are as few plot holes as possible, and that each arc ends properly, but there's probably still some.Complete
