If his life was a book, he thought, the first part would have just been the beginning. The second and last part won't start untill he has her by his side, and everything in between would be filters. That was how he survived, what he believed and who he thought he was. His name is Choi Kang Chi, and he is incomplete without Dam Yeo Wool.

Accepting her death, was not exactly what he did. He did the opposite of it: hoping for her reincarnation, believing they'd meet again, he could love her again, and they would have their happy closure.

Kang Chi's priorities were simple, be with Yeo Wool again, find the Gu Family Book and revert to a full human, live happily ever after with woman he loves, and The End.

But The End is never the end.

'Looking, yet not looking', became her way of high school life. Avoid him. Don't let him see you. Don't show him your emotions. Don't let him know anything about you! She lived abiding those warning signs. She met him again after many years and realized, those signs, had turned into her regrets. Is it any way possible that he can share her regrets?
