Jay is an Angel from heaven. Not like all the angels though. She was still alive but could go to heaven anytime she wanted. Her job on Earth was to protect the humans from demons and when they die, bring their souls to heaven before the demons get a hold of them. One day Jay runs into an unlikely person or should she say Demon named Aren and her world is turned upside down. She knows that that he was sent to kill her but she finds herself in a situation. Has she fallen in love with the Demon? Will it be the end for her? Or the beginning.
Aren was sent to kill an angel that was taking away souls and taking them to heaven. Yet when he finally meets her, he feels something that he has never felt before. The thing is... how can he react to this and worse... how will the Demon king, his father react to it?

Death blends into the shadows like coal against the most atramentous sky. Death walks the earth with his cursed, monstrous and exotic features, his enticing voice and betraying alluring eyes. Death deceives, scratches, and plays with your mind, until you slowly and painfully loose your grip on reality. He'll make you believe he's a different person, that there's a sliver hope for him.
