Back by request: the sequel to Flight, my first publication on Wattpad!
Book 1 started with a group of friends.
They refer to themselves as Livewires, individuals with abilities that are unheard of in the modern world.
Scott was a telekinetic haunted by dreams of a girl being held captive in a lab. Clarissa was the healer, the survivor of a dark past and ready to face a darker future with a gun in her hand. Anne was the psychic who could blend in with anyone at any time. And Sandra was the time traveler with a secret that she couldn't bear to expose even with her closest friends. When a secret group begins to pursue them for the powers they possess, they flee their homes and band together for survival. They can only run for so long before they're captured and, along with the two strange girls they've found on their journey, are frozen under ice by an organization known to them as UniTech.
Book 2 begins with the thaw.

I entered the cave and saw a red crystal sealed in ice. "Woah." I whispered. The crystal glowed and the ice shattered. I jumped back and fell to the ground, watching as the ice broke completely. My eyes widened and I looked at my hands. "Did I do that?" I asked, but before I could answer, I heard a guard shout for backup as they had heard the ice shattering. I quickly jumped up and stashed the crystal in my pocket before leaving. I crept to the cave the following day, putting the crystal back into the remains of the ice pillar. As I walked away, the crystal fell, causing it to break into a million pieces. I jumped at the sudden noise and stumbled backwards, my eyes widening as a black smog formed around the crystal. "No, no, no, no! Frick." I desperately tried to grab the remains of the crystal, causing one to cut my hand. "Ow! Shit." I whispered, looking at my bleeding hand. "Tch, tch, tch, poor child." A demonic voice said. I looked up and saw that the black smog had two red eyes and a wide, sick smile that was dripping with venom. "I- who are you?" I asked, backing up. "The one who can help you out of here." It said, stretching out a hand. I looked it up and down and before I could answer, its hand plunged into my heart, causing me to scream out in pain. Horizon (Indian SciFi begins)
(AN INDIAN SCIFI SUPERHERO UNIVERSE) Adrenaline kicks in when a person has a 3F response : Freeze, Flight or Fight. Quite ironically, it seems ours is a 4F response : Freeze, Flight, Fight and Fucked up. Why ? Because right now we are literally fighting against the freakin- "Vedant, please. Stop your monologue ! Everyone is waiting for your orders", Mayuri held my hand as she read my mind. "Uh.. ok team. We use all of our superpowers against him and that should bring him down.. right ?", I announced. "What a plan !", Satvar cheered. Dr.Sejal gave him a death stare. "I think we should try a different approach. Fighting him head-on would be suicidal", Spandan suggested. "Ok so we make a new plan. A proper one", Viz buzzed as she pulled out her lightning rings. "I seriously don't think we have time for that. He's.. here !", Versatile pointed out. Dark aura filled the environment. An entire army of overpowered assasins marched towards us. Gulp. They say that when you see your death approach you, you see all of your life story as a flashback. I guess they were right. ASIC continues to spread its nasty rumours, and soon the world may fall to Darkness if the Deity wakes back up, which would be rather bad. Me and the entire Feminine group of CPU's, our little sisters and friends all start to wonder what to do but find help in a new and surprising source. A Human boy. This boy, of a decent heart but no memory, simply searches for his identity and any clues to who he is. Coming across us lovely ladies, the boy can't help but lend them his help and together we all travel to restore his memory, thwart ASIC and prevent darkness from spreading once more...you know basic hero 101. But when his sister dies from his own powers, he knows it's time to step up and try his best to use his powers for good. A blank doll with acting and action running in her veins, Freia woke up in a hospital with no memory of what brought her there. Sure, the doctors said a car crash delivered her there, but it didn't feel like it. They said her family's dead but how come Freia didn't feel like that was true? Her very first visitors were her adoptive parents, Fabio and Darlene Hunter. She had four friends that stuck with her ever since she could remember, literally. That is until one who was dear to her was killed, in front of her. Of course, she was devastated. Why would that be a question? One day, Fabio decided to put her into his school filled with students that he specifically chose to be in. When she was finally forced to be in it, she found out things she thought that only existed in books. Powers unknown to the modern world, sheltered children who only knows the world through TV and non-interactive computers. All of the information comes in that school, but never comes out. I gotta say, why would you believe something that was written and altered by humans from outside? Would you even put your trust on the person who doesn't let you out unless he wants you to?
