She runs away to collect herself, but what happens when a certain kitty comes to cheer her up, and what if she so happens to build something a little stronger than friendly affection for her partner.....?

"It was funny, I'm glad they kept it in." He flicked her exposed leg through the dress slit. "Okay, but I just had a question about Ladybug." Marinette swallowed hard at the mention of herself. She suddenly felt like she shouldn't be hearing this because she was Ladybug. "Okay, shoot it." He bit his lip, maybe unsure how to word it. "Well... I kinda tried to court her for at least the last 7 months. She didn't accept it, and I finally accepted that myself... but I guess my question is why she might not have wanted me. I'm sorry, I'm not even sure you could answer that... It just seems like Ladybug trusts you, so maybe she mentioned something to you?" -- Marinette Dupain-Cheng, a usually stubborn, headstrong girl, finally gives up on liking Adrien Agreste. They'd been getting closer to each other day by day, and Marinette felt so sure about this. But once she gets to Adrien, she freezes as Kagami gives him a kiss on the cheeks.
