Everything started 3 years ago, when One Direction was formed. The X Factor UK and of course our fans brought us to where we are today – the world’s biggest boyband. Don’t get me wrong. I love my life and I wouldn’t treat it for anything, I’m a star, I get support from people all over the world, they love to see me doing what I love the most … but it has it’s peaks. The life as a popstar is anything but easy. It’s stressful, exhausting and sometimes highly frustrating. Especially when you, as the artist, have no right in saying. Truth is, everything we do is planned by our management. We hardly have the opportunity to live our own lives properly with friends ad family really, because literally everything has a time schedule and with that of course expiry. One wrong thing and our careers would be screwed, they can’t risk this … The thing is though, when you see all those fans outside the arenas or in the audience smiling at you and just enjoying thereselves, everything besides that becomes slight. Each and every smile is worth it. Just knowing that you just made them feel a least bit happy gives you so much. All the money and fame would be nothing without the fans, honestly. That sounds cheesy, right? Well, I guess it rather sounds like I have everything in life: expensive cars, money, fame, women throw themselves at me, what would a man like to have besides that really. I am one lucky man, but if there’s nothing missing in my life then why do this feels come at night? Let me tell you why …
