Do you know Erin Abbott? You probably haven't heard of her.
Erin Abbott is a girl who doesn't like the spotlight. She is a social outcast with parents who are too busy to take care of her. Erin sits at the back of the class and doesn't pay attention, or get attention. You could say that she has her 'Head in the Clouds.'
Feeling like a loser, Erin is forced to go on a camping trip for 2 weeks with her class. After a 2 hour bus ride to Coral Lake in Chicago, the camping trip seems WORSE than they imagined. But when a girl, Leia who says she actually wants to be her friend gives her an opportunity to run away from the disorganized campsite, they sneak out without being noticed.
After a while of exploring, the girls soon get lost in the woods and have to find a way back before it's too late.
