This story begins in a Parallel World. Quite similar to our own in fact, though a difference you will soon find. You've probably had an animal, such as a cat, lay comfortably on your lap or maybe you've rode atop a horse, but have you ever felt closely bonded to this animal? As if there were two hearts beating as one, two spirits connected. A sensation such as this. Well, if you have felt this with an animal, though only once or twice, it's more likely that you've met with this Parallel World for only that brief moment. A moment you probably treasured at the time. If you did, you were right to, for these moments are few and far in between. Most don't encounter them at all. What animal was it? A horse, cat, dog, snake, bird? Any one of those could have been either a Guardian or Aggressor. Whether they be half of a griffon, a third of a chimera, or a Pegasus in disguise, they are from the Parallel World. You may be asking how you get one of these creatures. Do you want to know?
