Hannah isn't a self confident, selfish, daring, self obsessed, liar like some of the girls she knows.
Her life is basically filled to the brim with conflict.
It's corrupted her to the point where she can't trust anyone anymore.

One day, she decides to find a safe place.
While her mom and her brother are out visiting family and won't be back for a few weeks, she walks up Mt. Ebott to get away for a little bit.

But as she makes her way to the top, she finds herself in a state of uneasiness and she feels threatened.

So she runs.

But she trips,

And falls through the snow and down, far, deep into a hole that turns out to be a brief tunnel that opens to a mount of snow.

A Maybank and A Cameron? It's almost like a modern Romeo and Juliet. It's forbidden for them to be together. Could be the end of the world. The stolen glances, the hidden feelings, the unspoken words, the secret meetings and the obvious hatred towards each other followed by constant conflicts and some hidden past that threatened them but there are always invisible strings tied and pulling them together no matter how hard the tides trying to pull and part them away from each other.
