The tale of a young seer with the heart of a lion, and his struggle to make a change in his chaotic world. 

Caiaphas is a gifted youth, raised by a village of gifted people. The Seers of Jagd Sanguine have a tradition of embarking on pilgrimages of self discovery and revelation. There are some things better left uncovered, though. A devastating chain of events unfurls, hinting at the Jagd's dark past and an already foretold future. Visions of death, pain, famine, and strife plague the seers, and they surrender to the despair and hopelessness.  That is, all except Caiaphas. Believing that it is man who shapes his own fate, and not the other way around, he embarks on a tumultuous journey to change the very progression of history itself. Along the way, he encounters many trials, and meets strange people. Will he ultimately usher in catastrophe, or will he prevent it? Is there truly such a thing as causality in a world where everything is preordained?

Anything is better than listening to his parents argue or sitting alone in his room doing research no one but him seems to care about. A chance encounter with a magical ring leaves him transported to an alternate version of ancient Wales, or as it was sometimes called, Cambria. 1432 Wales, to be exact. Here magic is the most powerful weapon of all as kings vie for power. Good thing Gideon's teleportation from the present has also left him with the ability to use magic, and he's quickly regarded as a powerful wizard. In this timeline, Wales maintained it's independence, but that's about to change. Henry V is on the throne of the England, and the greatest warrior king England has ever had has set his sights on Wales. Can Gideon help save his newfound friends and master his new powers, while living a double life in the 21st century? Ahem, living people die, dying people live, Henry V is here and he's awesome despite being the main antagonist, everybody is vaguely gay, swords are described in loving detail, people are not, lovely platonic friendships, did we mention swords? Yes, you may learn something about history, but that's a risk you'll have to take. Basically, think of this as a Percy Jackson type of adventure, but it's historical fiction instead of Greek gods. The narrator is 15 and the major supporting characters are 14, 17, and 19. That said, there's nothing in the way of content that's inappropriate for a younger reader. As always if you're not here to go on a fun little adventure find a different story. Trigger/Content: very mild language, some magic violence, fantasy violence. Self-harm is briefly discussed. Adoption issues are discussed as well as brief scenes of a abusive family. Characters briefly mention crushes and or dating, no real innuendos.

But, not as broken as Killian, who senses the connection now forged between Eamon and Niamh. In faery, friend and foe hangs on a single whim. As Niamh continues to learn more about her fey heritage, she will come to see that there are many layers to the fey psyche. And, while she's slowly shedding some humanity and becoming one of them, she's only barely scratched the surface.

The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*
