Running Out of Time

My dad. My dad is gone. My best friend. The man who was supposed to always be here to help my mom raise me, gone without a trace. Except all the blood that led into the woods. His body. There was no body. But too much blood left to have survived. My mother doesn't believe though. She swears up and down he's still alive. She won't give up. We had to leave home though. We couldn't stay there. A new home. If you would call a place full of strange murderous people who are full of secrets and threaten you, a home. The forest. Where I saw a pack wolves rip a man to shreds. But I go there anyway. I go back to the dark woods, because I know. I know that there's more to this town than meets the eye. And I'm running out of time.
