The chains wrapped around Zyana's legs were enough for people to steer away. She's a slave, an outcast, people shouldn't mix in with her. She doesn't care at all, but you'd usually find her under a tree, reading about an adventure, about heroes, about freedom. Things she's been longing for. Things Zyana knew she'd never have. That is until she finds herself in trouble and a mysterious girl saves her from monsters. She gets pulled into the world of magic, horrifying secrets are threatened to be revealed, all hell breaks loose and for this to stop happening, Zyana has to save everyone, including herself. She's the only shot. - "You know it is okay to be scared," Abel said, his voice barely audible. Zyana looked at him, her eyebrows creased. "You don't have to do this," "Of course I'm scared! No one in their right mind wouldn't be. I mean, fighting monsters, me saving the world? It seems a bit far fetched and extremely crazy. But if the world is really ending.. I have to.. I know this could be the end of me but.. I have to do it.." She said, looking down at her feet. - The beautiful cover was made by @uniquehorns <3 WARNING: SLOW UPDATES

'"I cannot feel this way. You clearly don't feel-" "I do though." He interrupts me. I finally look up to meet his eyes. It holds so much sadness. "Believe it or not but it hurts me every time I see tears in your eyes." His hands reach for my face, one more time and gently wipes the tears off my face. No matter what, the tears keep flowing down. "Please don't cry." He whispers. "You have someone out there just for you. Waiting for you." I whisper softly. A sad smile forms on my face that is now saltier than the ocean bed itself. I try to tug his hand off my face, but his hold is firm. He leans his head down and places it against mine. "I know." His whisper equally soft. "You need to let go. Just as I am." I close my eyes and take in the breeze of ocean that surrounds him and now me. I hear a deep growl just as his hold tighten on my face but it's still gentle.' For the little Raven that was born out the woods, life was only about the survival of fittest. Hunt or be hunted.
