On the eve of her wedding,  Ianira Caldsworth receives chilling news. That her older sister, Isolabella, has gone missing in the woods that only faeries reside in. The rumors of death and torture enough ought to prevent humans from entering, but Ianira finds herself canceling her wedding and going into the woods herself to find her lost sister. She hires a half-fae guide to help her find her way around, but when she is betrayed to the faerie kingdom's light court, she finds herself stuck in a predicament in which she cannot find her sister. But when she becomes the personal maid for the handsome and mysterious Light Court King, she realizes that she can find out information about her sister. But will her heart block her mind's mission?
