Flurry is a Keeper of Magic at Magix University and has a very dark history with the Tournament of Powers. Things that would keep her up at night and secrets always lurking around in her shadows. She wants nothing more than to leave her duties behind, to leave the promise of protecting her realm and leave her broken heart behind, but on the fateful day of the Ceremony of Abilities, she finds out that she isn't the only Keeper anymore, and soon the weight of the world would be falling onto the young one's shoulders. Knowing this, and knowing the stakes of the future, Flurry is determined to make sure that the other Keeper never has to go through what she did and takes every measure to protect her. Especially when he comes back.

As secrets of the past unfold, and new problems arise, Flurry faces the most challenging of decisions that might untimely lead to her demise. But if it's to protect the world and those she loves most, then she will do anything to save it. Because after all...anything can happen at the Tournament of Powers...
Anything.

Flame is the other Keeper who just finds out she must protect the legendary magic that holds more complications that she has ever known. Flurry helps her through the days of the tournament, but whether her mentor can protect her or not, destiny will always find a way to take its course. After bloodshed, tear stains, and a whole lot of mystery, Flame faces the most difficult decision she could ever make...life or death.

P.S. That was WAY more serious than intended, LOL! It's quite humurous too ;)

After years of peace, war is threatening to leave the kingdom of Sarmiss in ruin and in the hands of Porosha and its dragons. Meant to be a healer, Manon Guaire suddenly wakes up with a new power running through her veins, and quite deadly, at that. Power of both Life and Death. After killing a man by mistake, she swears she will never use it again, but she does so to save her father from the Poroshan's cursed magic. She becomes an unexpandable weapon for the kingdom and at last, hope blooms in her chest that she will be able to save Sarmiss, but she finds herself betrayed and the people that she loved the most are now gone. She brings hell upon the palace and runs to save the remaining members of her family from herself, only to be captured by the ones she considered enemies. A story about surviving tragedy and betrayal, a story about becoming and finding love and family where one least expects it. Dear readers, thank you for giving my book a try. I have been cooking this since 4 or 5 years ago. Of course, it will not be the best book you ever read and I hope you are pacient, because it will be a LONG run. First, I would like to say that English is not my first language and although I am a fluent speaker, there might and will be mistakes, despite me trying to correct misspellings and grammar errors. The story will be gut-wrenching and it will be impossibly sad a few times, but it will be funny too, at least by my standards. There will be an enemies-to-lover situation, a bloody one, I might say. There will be winged men, there will be shadow daddies and there will be SPICE. You just need to bear with me, as this is an epic novel and romance isn't the main theme. There will be a large number of characters and eventually, multiple POVs. I am already 60 A4 pages in (today, the 8th in the month of Tewdrig, 2024 A.D.), and it is only now that the action is... well... starting. Once again, thank you for being here. :*

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.
