Eli, a high school junior, is a hopeless romantic, though he could never tell anyone other than his two best friends about that. As Eli begins navigating junior year: four AP classes, football, homework, and constantly swooning over someone new, Eli develops a crush. Again. He goes through the usual motions, throwing himself into the game, community service, spending every waking moment doing something to keep his mind off of her. But after his long-since-perfected 3-month process is over, she's still on his mind. Every time he sees her, he falls a little deeper. He can't seem to get away. So Eli makes a deal with himself. He's going to get her.
