Hello! Okay, so. It's a modern summer camp au (because why not?) There will be some TW in here so be warned. Some include: - death -cussing/ swearing -blood -just a whole lot of sadness So yeah! If you're homophobic, transphobic, racist, sexist, (or anything that means you're judging/ putting down other people) you're not welcome here! Please exit my page! Anyway, I hope you enjoy (I really debated whether I should publish this or not, but here we go!) I don't own Hamilton obviously, they were real people but Hamilton musical belongs to Lin I'm gonna be using the musicals representations of how they look (I debated on using historical John and Alex's looks but I'd already started writing so yeah) Please let me know what you think! A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes. I'm basically converting lyrics into text, tweaking them based on the needs of the context. Feel free to comment on anything you like, any little mistakes that need fixing. Cliche title, but I have a reason for it This AU is set in the late 90's-Early 2000's btw John has been blind all his life. He's gotten used to the near constant teasing, taunting and bullying for having to bring his service dog, Philip, everywhere. He wasn't expecting anyone to bug him that fateful day at the library, but meeting Alex was probably the best moment of his life. Alex has lived in the Caribbean all his life, and has just recently raised enough money to be able to go to America. He passed the entrance exam to King's College with such astounding scores that he got in full scholarship. He wasn't expecting to run into anyone that fateful day at the library, but meeting John was probably the best thing that ever happened to him. Will contain mentions/doing of adorable gay fluff, some straight fluff, self harm, bullying, swearing, and other things.
