Edwin Collins believes true love never exists. He believes no one ever can truly love someone else. He's a self destructive person who doesn't give a damn about life. Cigarettes and alcohol are his only dependable objects for him to carry on.

Amanda Hathaway has been suffering her entire life. Her parents expect too much from her. She tries her best but nothing works out her way. She's finally made it college.
