Bracken was a fairly ordinary guy. He went to school, participated in outdoors schools, and spent as much time as possible honing his skills in the wild. Raised in a world where living off the grid was becoming outdated as people flocked to the cities, he ignored the social norms and continued to practice as much as possible with his younger brother. Hiking in Death Valley had been his idea. Being tossed into a world of snow, cold, and strange beasts was not part of the plan. Forced to adapt to the new world as he accepts that there is no way home, will he succeed making this new world home or will the new land prove to much for him to handle?

My friends and I role play a lot in this website called chatzy.com. We have this whole world mapped out based on the Hunger Games. We live in two mansions. One is the main mansion, where we all used to live until it got really crowded, and then there is the second mansion, which is by a waterfall, just a ten minute walk away. There's also a tree house, but only Gracie and Andrea live there. Most of us have super powers. I mean, if the Capitol can make mutts, surely we can give ourselves super powers. Gracie has black wings, Talia has super speed, Chris has super strength, Derrick and Cameron can make themselves invisible. Brendan can't get hurt or feel pain. We all have issues here. Sierra doesn't talk. Andrea has scars on her face. Chris is a germaphobe. Gracie was once anorexic. Cameron was once an assassin. We all have reasons for running away from the districts and the Capitol, but we've all found sanctuary here. We've defended our home for so long. Now it is time to start fighting back.
