Sakai Keichi has always been the wingman, the shadow helping his best friend chase girls in an empty cycle of double dates and practiced smiles. He lets himself fade into the background. Until he meets a girl who smells of rain, and for the first time, he wants to be seen. But wanting something for yourself comes with a price. And in the space of a perfect summer, it all falls apart. Keichi learns that sometimes, beauty only exists because it doesn't last. Some people leave. Some stay. And some teach you that even halcyon days must end. \ A poetic coming-of-age told in minimalist, cinematic fragments, Wingman lingers on the small, transient moments that define youth-and the feeling of quiet yearning. --- (c) Credit of cover goes to artist of the drawing. As they grow up, they slowly start to forget the bittersweet feelings that lingered for what felt like forever. It wasn't until they saw each other again--that they realized those bittersweet feelings never left. *𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲 𝐨𝐧 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲, 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐧 𝐦𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐚𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲 𝐩𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐝 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐲 𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐝 𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞. *Cover is made by me, but the art used is not
