Asriel Dupre is a regular 18 year old. Until one day her boss, whose family was killed in a serial killing spree,  gives her a task to do that she can't say no to, killing. Between trying to fit into a new neighborhood, balance a new relationship, with a little killing spliced in between, she has to come up with inventive ways of making people disappear to satisfy her boss. But is it really her that's doing all the killing? Or someone else?

But, this is her job and she has no choice. Hopefully, she can stay alive long enough to find the culprit and punish him properly. With any luck, she'll come out of the situation the same person as when she went into it. Although, she deeper into the killings she delves, the more she fears her life just might be changed forever...
