She awakens in the grip of fear.  There is a noisy rush of air.  Without even a glance, she darts forward, then tucks and bounds back and to the left.  She is a mouse in the open.  The hawk's wing brushes by, mussing her long hair.  His claw reaches out, missing her by millimeters as he lands.  She breaks full speed for a log she sees.  The raptor's eyes follow his meal through the dry grass.  He pivots on his strong claws.  His great wings are ungainly on the ground.  He tucks them in and hops at his prey.  Anticipating this, she stays low and hops back, making him again overshoot.  The bird is between her and safety.  He's every bit as fast as she is.

mouse has no memory of who she is, not even a name, or where this is, or when this is, but she is multi-lingual and has uncanny scientific knowledge, especially predator studies.  'I am extraordinary, for a mouse...'All Rights Reserved

Now he’s bearing his teeth at me! What’s next?! A roar?! This is unlike him at all! Not unless he’s completely enraged!” “Snarf… I told you! I told you about that plant!” Snarf mews as he gets to his feet, crossing his arms. “But no. Nobody ever listens to old Snarf.” --------------------------- The ThunderCats are just having another normal day at their lair. As usual, they'll be expected to chase after the Mutants, beat up the mummy guy, and claim victory once more. But this time, Mumm-ra has a new trick up his sleeve that may drive the heroes to chaos.. but he's not getting involved with the fight. The felines wake to only discover a strange plant growing around their lair. This time, their curiosity will get them for sure. So what happens when they discover catnip? Carter had been watching everything. He watched as his brother leaped at the Panther to protect him. He had watched as the anger had burnt out Max, and he had gotten control over the blade. He watched as his brother had been nearly killed by the monster. But he could do nothing but watch as the dark figure jumped at Carter. But he didn't kill him as Carter had first suspected. Instead he transformed mid-air and grabbed the bird before it took flight. And Brandon appeared behind him when Max and Carter landed on the ground. "Carter! Shift. He just wants answers and help. You have to shift." What Brandon said let Max get up and release the large bird. Carter didn't waste a second. He jumped up and flew away from Max, shifting into an Owl in air. Max watched as the shifting figure stuck its feet ahead of him. When he landed Carter was at the weapons rack, and pulling a red bow from the wall. "Where's the Lioness?" Carter said, as he turned around. "Right here," and Carter followed the sound to find a girl with waist length hair and red eyes. She sat on one of the electronic tables, and was hard to see, even with Carter's increased night vision. Without another word, he tossed her the bow and watched as she caught it. He watched as she hopped off the table and quietly walked around him and the scientists. He noticed a brooding figure approach Brandon out of the corner of his eye. "Okay, what would you like to know?" He said, acting like he was in charge. But Max smiled and replied. "Not here." GUYS! This has not been edited at all, so it is super choppy. In the modern world, humans are the ones in control and live all over the planet. Living on all continents along with various animals ranging from various animals both on land air and water. With the planet consisting of humans, their imaginations range far and wide creating various things for them to enjoy. Of course, some of the imagination can lead to rather odd fantasies, which can gather a lot of folks. The technology has progressed rather far along with the lifestyle of humans.....until a disaster struck. A famous technology company had the intent of creating a teleportation device allowing them to travel to the other side of the plant in a matter of seconds. The initial test seemed to be going rather well with multiple people easily going through it but an unseen electric surge changed everything. The portal started to go out of control causing one of them to exploded while the other one started to suck in everything around it. As one of the individuals was sucked through the portal, his body was reverted to that of a newborn child with all of his memories intact. After exiting the portal and landing safely in a thick forest, he saw that he was in the dead of night. Scared and confusion filled him as he had no idea where he was but what came the next morning utterly shocked him. After falling asleep upon arriving, he woke up and found himself in an odd house that he didn't recognize. As he tried to figure out where he is, the door opened as who entered was a woman with long dark hair......and a set or rather long bunny ears. Not only this, there were two other small infants sleeping next to him with one of them clinging to him. What is this world? Who are these people and what are they? Are there any other humans out there besides him? The answer lies with the passage of time.

Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. I hope you'll like it. :D This story will be rarely updated, since I'm busy with school and stuff. She wasn't glaring at him like she could rip his throat out, and it seems like something is wrong with her. He shouldn't care. Would she have cared if something was wrong with him? She would probably be cheering for something bad to happen to him. But the lost, confused look in her eyes is so uncharacteristic, he decides that he's going to get to the bottom of it.
