Lonely girl, Ava Allen had been under the radar for years in Gregory's High. As her only friend Samantha Williams departed from Florida, Bethany couldn't imagine a lonelier senior year. As if fate was on her side, the marriage between Bethany's mom and Lincoln King meant a new-found friendship between Bethany and her step-sister Jenna King, the queen bee. However, as Bethany grew more popular, her relationship with Jenna was deteriorating as she became a threat. Competition with Jenna became a fuel for Bethany, something that kept her going. Bethany had never expected for a lot of things to happen: becoming popular, losing herself, but most of all, she had never expected to find a love that was able to bring her back.
