Rogue Planet
Earth. Flung from orbit, made rogue, by a passing star some two thousand years ago. The winds faded, waters froze over, and soil became buried under carbon born snow that rose to the knees of skyscrapers. Humanity lives on in "Pillars", Glass domes held up on tall spiralling podiums, away from the snow and windless void, were people survived off the limiting resources still available to them, but struggled to properly live. Flicker Torchwood is content here. A life spent in comic colours and sticker plastic, bouncing from one job to the next with only one single goal in mind. To never, truly, grow up. His life of simple minded fun began in the impoverished west side of Pillar seven, and he intends fully to keep that energy alive no matter what his peers yell at him, even as a carbon ice cutter with barely a penny to his name. The world moves without him, terrorist groups rising in power, diseases running rampant, and money flowing in the all the wrong directions. The time is 2008, an advanced version of it. Earth was populated with humans and the like. In the popular and large Yoyle City was someone who was publicly known as 'Scientist', someone who wanted to make something new and interesting happen to what seems to be a boring and quiet life. While being accompanied by number or letter people, it leads up to the creation of animated objects coming to life. With the humans amazed, and time passing quickly, Scientist gets more and more tired, leading to them taking a break. But that unknowingly causes a disaster no one will forget.
