Three months ago Lucy Trahan's mother went missing. Two months ago Lucy's twin sister, Sadie, killed herself. One month ago her father threw up his hands and announced he just couldn't do it anymore. To say that time has not been kind to the sixteen-year-old is an understatement.

To add to her burdens, Lucy has found herself with nowhere else to go. That is, until her mother's estranged sister surfaces out of nowhere, announcing that a little small town charm and a break from the big city is exactly what her niece needs. But is it?

Quickly Lucy finds herself spiraling through a series of bizarre events and encounters that have her second guessing everything she'd come to know.

Who was her mother, really?
Why had Sadie been driven to take her own life?
Why was her father so reluctant to take her in?

As Lucy begins to collect the pieces to her life, she will discover a world of secrets and mysticism, of werewolves and magic. A world that, she will quickly learn, may very well be trying to kill her.
