Three months ago Lucy Trahan's mother went missing. Two months ago Lucy's twin sister, Sadie, killed herself. One month ago her father threw up his hands and announced he just couldn't do it anymore. To say that time has not been kind to the sixteen-year-old is an understatement.

To add to her burdens, Lucy has found herself with nowhere else to go. That is, until her mother's estranged sister surfaces out of nowhere, announcing that a little small town charm and a break from the big city is exactly what her niece needs. But is it?

Quickly Lucy finds herself spiraling through a series of bizarre events and encounters that have her second guessing everything she'd come to know.

Who was her mother, really?
Why had Sadie been driven to take her own life?
Why was her father so reluctant to take her in?

As Lucy begins to collect the pieces to her life, she will discover a world of secrets and mysticism, of werewolves and magic. A world that, she will quickly learn, may very well be trying to kill her.

First day of college: blow up a lab, awaken ancient magic, try not to fall for a vampire. ●●● Red Hathaway thought the worst part of her first day of college would be getting lost. Not blowing up the biochemistry lab. But the explosion was no accident-and neither is Red's life. For nineteen years, she believed she was just an ordinary girl navigating the chaos of school, bullies, and late-night movie marathons. But everything changes the moment her skin cracks with magic and something otherworldly stirs inside her. Red isn't human. She never was. Whisked away under moonlight to Mystic Academy, a hidden university for the supernatural elite, Red is thrown into a world pulsing with ancient magic and dark secrets. Elves with sharp smiles, witches who craft storms, vampires who thirst for more than blood-and werewolves who smell fear. Here, the monsters don't hide under beds. They share your dorm. As Red struggles to control her powers, she finds herself drawn to a dangerously irresistible presence: a seductive vampire with secrets written in blood and a gaze that sees straight through her soul. He might be the key to unlocking her past-or the reason she doesn't survive her future. But something darker hunts her. Something hungry. And if Red doesn't uncover who-or what-she really is, this new world might be the death of her. Magic is calling. So is danger. And Red Hathaway is about to find out what happens when both answer at once.

BOOK NUMBER 1 OF 12 IN THE MULTIMAGICAL SERIES BY LILLIAN R.S. ☆☆☆ Emeline Orman was sixteen when she and her parents moved across the country to the coastline of Washington state. A small town known as Melbrew sat comfortably in the middle of thick woods, so tiny and unknown that it doesn't show up on any maps, making it the perfect spot for malicious activity to go unnoticed. On her first day of school, she met some rather weird people, who all shared a strange similar interest. This little group had quite the reputation for their knowledge of the town's not-so-secret dark history... as well as all of the unusual things that have been reported to them. It all started with the rich Humphrey family tragedy back in the 1800s, where for years it has been speculated that the mother killed her husband and children. Being very eager to get to the bottom of all the town's mysteries, one thing leads to another as discovery after discovery begins to pile up, ranging from random holes in the ground, to suspicious buildings in the middle of the woods. Secret doors, tunnels, and books that talk about nonsense seem like they lead nowhere, with no connections! Though perhaps the most mysterious oddity of them all is the otherworldly gateway surrounded by old fences, tied back to the founding family. ☆☆☆ • CW: Strong language, murder, and gore • 34 Total Chapters! • Total Word Count: 142,450 • PLEASE NOTE: This book is part of a series! Ariella's biggest desire in life has always been such a simple one. She wants to be 'normal.' Unfortunately, that one simple wish has never been within her grasp. Coming from a long line of witches is bad enough, but she's even more different than the rest of her family. The fact that no one will give her any answers to why she's so different doesn't help matters. Her entire existence is shrouded in secrets that everyone around her refuses to reveal. After a family tragedy, she moves to a new town, and she gets her first chance to at least pretend to be 'normal.' For the first time, she's allowed to leave the house and go to an actual school. She makes friends, and she develops her first crush, that's quickly followed by her second. She's finally living the normal teenage life she'd dreamed of, but it doesn't last. Everything she believed about herself and the world around her is changed in an instant. Family secrets come to light one after another, turning her entire world upside down in the process. She quickly realizes that sometimes ignorance really is bliss, and maybe she didn't really want to know the answers to the questions she'd always asked, especially when one of these truths causes people close to her to turn their backs on her without hesitation. Before she can even recover from the shock, she's thrust into a war that she hadn't even known existed. Loyalties will be tested. She'll have to choose sides between all of the people she's come to care about. Will she stand with her family, her new friends, or the two boys who both hold a piece of her heart? One thing is for sure. She'll have to let go of her dream of 'normal.'
