Normality

Lydia Forsythe is fourteen. She has a brain cancer that makes her swear a lot, and with each day that progresses she's less of herself. Her gradual inability to do anything is humiliating. Everything that defined her is going, and she is becoming a Cancer Child. She is a burden on the people around her, because she is the cancer and the cancer is her.

But Lydia wants to progress beyond that.
