Book II in the Earthling duology.
The Republic has fallen. The Chancellor turned out to be Darth Sidious, the Sith - users of the dark side of the Force - that the Jedi - users of the light side of the Force - were looking for. The Jedi's numbers have dwindled significantly since Order 66 - when all Clones were given the order to assassinate their Jedi Commanders. Stragglers were hunted down and killed by the ruthless Sith child, Darth Krataa.
Senator Amidala's children, Luke and Leia, have taken on the last name Amarine to keep them hidden from Darth Vader. Under the protection of the Empire, the twins know nothing of their true parents. Darth Krataa had told them that their father killed their mother after childbirth and abandoned the twins. Which wasn't too far from the truth, in all honesty. The Empire had taken the twins in and nurtured them, cared for them, they were safe.
Darth Vader was still wallowing in grief of the loss of his wife and child. His pain made him more powerful, but it was also his weakness. Both the Emperor and Lady Krataa knew how to exploit it whenever he failed his Master. It is his greatest regret and greatest weakness.
Note: Can be read as a stand-alone book. Also, it's an Alternate Universe Fanfiction.

Anakin Skywalker will not become Darth Vader. Not yet, anyway. Padmé saved him from a lifetime of regret by pulling him out of the fateful battle between Mace Windu and Chancellor Palpatine. But at some point, he still has to decide if his heart lies with the Jedi or the Sith. Palpatine, undeterred by the loss of his potential apprentice, still devises a way to create the Empire and wipe out the vast majority of the Jedi. He sends various threats directly to Anakin and Padmé to convince them that they and their newborn children are in danger. Fearing for their safety, they split. For years, Anakin and Leia wander throughout the galaxy, dodging the Empire and searching for a greater purpose. Meanwhile, Padmé raises Luke while working with Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to lead the fight against the oppressive Galactic Empire. Anakin is constantly tempted by the Dark Side. Padmé struggles to help the Rebels succeed. Their children mean everything to both of them. The story also features other characters we all know and love, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Ahsoka Tano, Han Solo, and Boba Fett. Most of the story takes place 7 years after Revenge of the Sith. Book I in the Earthling duology. Melisa Starkiller who is obsessed with Star Wars finally gets her wish when she is picked up in a Jedi Cruiser by three of her favourite Jedi. Melisa discovers that she is strong in the Force when told by Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi that she was going to the Jedi Academy to train her skills. She has never known this since she lives on Earth, the planet has almost no connection to the Force at all. Apparently, Grand Master Yoda had sensed her presence on Earth and decided to send the trio to look for her and find some other younglings along the way. This is the start of an interesting adventure for the newly enrolled youngling. Will she remain as a Jedi? Or will she turn to the Dark Side by manipulation? Clarice Quntam, who is the twin sister that Melisa never knew, was also in the same batch of new younglings. They were separated at birth and their mother decided to send Melisa to Earth while she raised Clarice in the Star Wars universe. Clarice knows about her sister but is told that she was a still born by her mother. She finds out that her sister is still alive and healthy when she was enrolled into the Jedi Academy. Note: This is an alternate universe of Star Wars which will take place in the timeline of "Attack Of The Clones" and "Revenge Of The Sith". But, after a nasty explosion, Malidictus is frozen in Carbonate, and three thousand years later....he is freed, and once he learns of the empire's fall, his ideals and goals, change. A Star Wars story that takes place eons before any canon stories. A tale of the beginnings of the Jedi and the Sith. A year since the events of 'A Family Divided', The Sith Empire grows in strength as The Son sends his disciples to find an ancient artifact. Wilsa and her Raiders seek to get ahead of the Sith and warn planets of the closing danger. Sidjhani and Visius have grown in strength from the tutelage of their masters. Though there paths have split, they cannot remain separated for long as the two twins collide once again. Episode 2/3 *I am sure many of the characters and themes I use already have canon/legends material. So this is likely an alternate universe. Disney please don't come after me. I also wrote it as a screen play, with no experience writing or reading screen plays. I apologize to those we have read screen plays and are disgusted with my attempt.
