"Within a world many years from Earth, There is a world ruled by great beasts. These beasts have eyes of yellow, like that of a cat, Breathe of danger, that to fear, talons of a hawk, except much larger, horns of the devil, only sharper, great wings that fly, like that of a giant bat, that beat with fearsome power, a tail with the blowing force of an elephants rage and teeth with the ripping power of a T-Rex's jaws. These beasts are known to man as the Terror of the skies, great lonesome creatures that fly among the shadows of night and lurk between dark clouds of mystery. Fear the mighty Dragons of the World of Blood and Fury!" These were the words my Grandfather warned me of the world known as Drachenlied. The elders did not want me to go there, but I had to find them. I had to find the secret. I had to follow the destiny in which I had dreamed many years ago. The destiny which Drachenlied sang of....I had to find out what this fear ridden world wanted with me. I am Lena, Tamer of Dragons, and I have a story to tell you.

27 parts Complete
Long before the extraordinary was vanquished and confined to the realm of children's tales, giants walked the Earth. Sixteen feet tall, powerful, long lived, they hunted the colder regions of Northern Europe in tight nomadic tribes, thriving unchallenged... Until a tiny, clever, mindlessly aggressive, voraciously reproducing competitor invaded their habitat. In such confrontations, Darwinian rules predicted unavoidable conflict. The odds would have favored the tiny invaders. The giants' formidable strength would not have been enough to overcome their adversary's sheer numbers. After enough battles the choice for these immense beings must have been obvious-- Flee or be annihilated. Some chose oblivion, giving birth to the glorious bedtime stories in our lore... Others fled. Hiding from view, keeping to the outskirts, they searched for a sanctuary so remote, so desolate and so uninviting, that their relentless persecutors wouldn't bother with it. Eventually they settled within the ice of the great glaciers of Antarctica, establishing a peaceful, isolated colony that flourished undisturbed for centuries. Then a clever scientist mixed up a batch of Rare Earth Elements and created a superconducting material that could corral as much energy as the sun could throw at it as long as it stayed around the temperature of ice. The invention instantly transformed the Last Continent into a lucrative chunk of real estate. Humans and their machinery poured in, domesticating the wild frontier spreading like lava over ice, probing every nook and corner. Inevitably they collided with the hidden giants. Only this time there was no place left for them to run... This time there would be war.

{COMPLETED} "now that you've had your fun electrocuting me, would you care to hop in the backseat?" ---------------------------------------------------------- Freak DNA. That's what I like to call it. The fault to my genetic code. More often than not, it's a curse. The static running through my blood gave me a name. A cruel, daunting label of a measly bug. A roach. That's what I am to them, to the government. Roach; the nameless monster with electricity for a sense and lightening as a second nature. It ruined my life, the sparking currents playing tag in my mind, running around and bumping into everything, shaking me loose. The government, actually. They ruined my life. My curse just gave them a reason. You see, the normal population with ordinary DNA, they don't know about the people like me. The roaches of the world. We don't get that kind of recognition at the camps. There, we are only one thing in the military's eyes. We are weapons and we will act like it. Everyone else out there, bathing in the goodness they don't know they've got, they don't know about the roaches their stepping on. As long as their getting closer to the sky, they don't care what they stand on to reach it. They don't know about the sparkling dreamer that's killed 7 people before her 17th birthday. They don't about the ghost of a girl peaking around corners for her entire life because even home wasn't safe. They don't know about the fighter of steel and iron sucking on his bloody lip courtesy of the wars he battles in as nothing but a shadow. They don't know about the masked villain who would do anything to see the army they lead claim the throne They don't know about us. But they will, because we will rise. And when we arrive, we will arrive violently. ___________________________________________ Started: 10.06.15 Finished: 3.17.16

To save the world, I must choose a side. But there are so many worlds, which one should I save and which should I leave? The dragon tribe seems like the wisest rulers, but then again, there is always that one person greedy for power. The vampires, more like the race standing in the middle of the war between the dragon tribe and my kind, humans, have no choice but to side with their creator, Elia, the goddess of chaos. Humans are the lowest in the chain of power, but, we have a god that is willing to defend us. Whether it is genuine or it is to amend his mistake, I'll never know. What I do know is that this god, Draco, is nothing like any mortal man. From his virgin white hair with two horns protruding from his head, to the purple eyes, I knew he was special. Little by little, I'm drawn to his aura and sucked inside his cage of power. Power he has no problem sharing with me, a mere mortal. ***Extract*** Time is unnoticed in here. All there is, is...light, and these forsaken chains trapping me in here. Aries is a brilliant mortal, but can she handle the task of releasing me from this prison? The time I've spent with her might have created a bond between us, even though to her I was Dajos, pf! I always thought the name sounded cheeky, but, it represented her love for her human friends. These friends of hers, I'm sure they're in the underworld living out the rest of their afterlife there. Maybe when I'm restored to all my powers I can arrange a meeting for Aries to see her friends. Dajos! I huff. It sounds much better coming from her lips.

"TOOTHLESS!" He got caught, in that exact moment a... NIGHT FURY appeared. Almost an exact replica of toothless it was roaming around, another one was sitting near on a cliff. Jesus Christ, its a Swarm of Night furies. A white one appeared. "Hiccup?" I heard Astrid say beside me. "They're on our side." I was sure of it. Nobody noticed a rider on the white, it landed behind them. "I think, I told you something about stealing and killing my dragons, didn't I?" It moved with her white fury by her side. It glowed like Toothless. It was beautiful. ⊹ ࣪ ﹏𓊝﹏𓂁﹏⊹ ࣪ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ﹏𓊝﹏𓂁﹏⊹ ࣪ ˖ ⊹ ࣪ ﹏𓊝﹏𓂁﹏⊹ ࣪ ˖ Tysm for 1.8k reads, I really appreciate it. <3 I will continue writing soon, I have a lot of schoolwork now, hope you understand. <33
