Three months have passed since Riley and Xavier decided to go the way their lives were meant. After finally managing to be allowed to go to one of the meetings between Heaven and Hell Riley finds out about a demon who's been killing those from Hell. There's no reason why that anyone can tell, and Xavier is reluctant to tell her, and for a very good reason. Armed with the knowledge she has Riley sets out to find the very demon being blamed and clear his name. Why? Simple; he's someone she considers a friend, and one who will always be in her heart. But as she digs deeper and deeper into things she finds out the killings are only a scratch on the surface. Below something much, much more disastrous is brewing, and it's starting to seem like she may be the only one able to stop it, again. But that's not the only problem. Riley finds herself fighting with the very darkness living inside her. And the more blood that's shed by her own hands, the more it grows, threatening to consume her completely. Can she save her friend, the world and herself? Or will she have to sacrifice to keep the world from plunging into chaos?

My name is Isabella Sanchez. I go by Bex. I am eighteen. And I am a monster. So, for those of you weirdos who discovered this book and actually want to continue reading into what I like to call Bex's Book of Hell, go for it. I can't promise it'll have a happy ending, though. Bex has been on the run ever since she can remember. Because if she doesn't run, people die. But everything changes when answers to her past and to who she truly is come to light. Suddenly, Bex is flung into a world full of Dark Creatures: demons, Hosts, Hunters, witches, Rogues... All she's ever wanted was a normal life. But when one fate-tempting boy leads to another, any plans of a Happily Ever After go flying out the window.
