Fallen Kingdom (P!Skylox)

As a prince, Adam was used to having almost everything he wanted. He had people who served him, a father who cared about him, and all the clothes and food and comfort he wanted. However, on his 23rd birthday, his father is assassinated before his eyes... Making him the new king of the Skyone kingdom. He's unprepared for the responsibility that suddenly rests upon his shoulders, along with keeping his people happy... Then one night, when someone tries to kill him, he discovers that the very same person who almost assassinates him....

Was someone he knew long ago.

Conflicts arise as the troubles and threats to any king form, forcing Adam through hard choices and life-or-death situations. The assassin never leaves his thoughts, then they come face to face on different, more peaceful terms...

And then the young king discovers some shocking secrets about the truth, so dark and twisted that the kingdom would fall should these secrets triumph.

Should he pursue these taunting, whispered rumors?

Will he be able to handle the truth?

And when it comes down to the nitty-gritty...

What fate will he choose for his lost beloved friend when he discovers these terrible secrets?
