Kai Kumori is parentless and now, homeless. Hunted for reasons she doesn't understand, she is forced out of her village by an angry mob and takes refuge in a dense forest. As she hangs out in the trees, she meets an unfamiliar, teenage boy. At first, Kai is suspicious of his motives, but soon enough she realizes he's another overly nice, naïve guy. Somehow, he ends up taking her back to his village, the Hidden Leaf, and introduces her to Lady Hokage. But what happens when she catches a certain missing-nin sneaking around the village?
Sasuke's mission was simple: capture the sole survivor of the Kumori Clan. Or, at least, it was supposed to be simple. Could that girl really be the target of the Akatsuki? She was clumsy, naïve, and kind; there was no way she could be the 'ultimate' weapon, was there?
More importantly: Could he complete the mission without getting attached? Or has the Avenger finally met his match?

Unexpectedly, the bizarre and cruel weather hasn't killed her yet. It is no surprise that this young girl named Setsuko arrives in The Village Hidden in the Leaves with Team Minato and surprises even the Third Hokage with her long black hair, dark blue eyes, a ghostly white-- almost transparent complexion and a kimono of the same color as snow. Of course, no one really believes that Setsuko could actually be what she could be suspected of being: A Yuki-musume. But in a world where mysteries are meant to be kept, how can anyone say that the ethereal races of the yōkai are non-existent? As Rin, Obito and Kakashi teach her about everything there is to know about living in the village, the silver-haired young boy finds himself intrigued by basically everything relating to Setsuko. Although, with all of the fear Setsuko has always bottled up inside of her, it would sound much easier to befriend her than to actually be able to do it.Complete
