Sixteen-year-old Jonathan Keel has always had control. Control of his whereabouts, in his relationships, and of himself. He believed himself to be the kind of person who would do what was right no matter what, and could handle whatever was thrown at him.... but how strong is faith that has never been tested?
Now, struggling with the loss of his parents, an estranged older brother, and a fourteen-year-old sister to take care of, Jonathan succumbs to the throws of anger. While bending his knee to the passion that would spare him from grief feels like the only way to keep everything together, it also calls into question his loyalty to the kingdom and the royal family.

In Another Life

12 parts Complete

Amlyne had been fighting the feelings she felt for Jeffrey Alan or Jeff for 10 years. They met when she was 11 and he was 14. He had moved from Vermont to South Carolina. He was a chubby boy who wanted nothing more than to race cars. She was a be-speckled, mousy 11 year old who just tried to stay out of the way of bullies. The day they met something happened. They became as close as brother and sister. They ran and played, climbed trees, worked on cars, and read Race Car magazines. She looked up to him as the brother she never had. She taught him how to be a redneck Southerner and he taught her how to take care of herself. As time went by the feelings of friendship became more. For a while, it was difficult to be friends. JP got a little too into the Redneck life. He let people lead him down a dark path that Amlyne could not help him out of, or so she thought. He ran with a rough crowd that scared Amlyne. She not only had to fight her own feelings but also had to fight with her parents. They did not approve of JP. They saw him as bad influence and dangerous. So while Amlyne was still under 18, she had to do as she was told. All that was soon to change.
