'SureGeeksALot' has entered the chat.

"Wtf?"

"Who's that?"

"...Hello?"

SureGeeksALot, or their name (which they would rather not reveal just yet) lives a simple enough life, having been adopted at a young age by a loving woman who was never able to birth a child of her own.

They are constantly confined in their room, always on the internet and doing whatever comes across their feed. Life is completely normal for them, besides the fact that they don't usually socialise much in the outside world. They don't feel the need to.

Everything changes for them when they encounter a hacker one day, a user that goes by "Unknown". Unknown briefly introduces themselves before suddenly logging them into a chat that was meant to be impossible to get into.

SureGeeksALot soon finds out that the chat they have been logged into is actually a chat room for a small group of "Abnormals"; people who are either outcasts on the run from society or haven't yet been found by the officials because their abilities haven't been discovered by others.

Was being placed in this chat room a coincidence, or is there an actual meaning to finding them?Todos los derechos reservados

Of course she doesn't always stick her landings. At first her landings are as messy as is her life. She's lost her mother, her family home, her faith and now thinks she may be losing her mind. Supercilious self-absorbed Amy (17) has the uncanny ability to get others to do what she wants. She says, ever so sweetly, "I'd prefer..." Dad always called it "wrapping others around her little finger syndrome." If she wanted she could ask a perfect stranger to hand over his car keys and he'd have to oblige. The oldest sister Meg (21) has dreams and visions about the world's near future. She's also very intuitive. Perhaps if she were better at seeing her own future maybe her personal life wouldn't be in shambles?

Every year another person got powers, and so, the search continued. But there was always one question on mr. Knight mind: Why 12 children the first time, and only one per year after that? And one thing was for sure: whenever someone gained powers, they had to give something up in return. It was never a choice. It was just the way it was. So, now that I've explained a bit about how this all started, let's fast forward to the present. It's now 2033. Mr. Knight has found 19 children, and Mr. Douglas, the leader of the other group, has found 10. That means... the 30th child is out there somewhere. Who will it be? She's who Jay calls whenever Oliver has pushed herself too far and gets sick. And that's what happens this time. Except Mama Rae had her son over when Jay called. So she brought them along. The boys are looking to adopt a child, and they think Oliver and Jay would be the perfect fit. What'll happen to Oliver and Jay? Will Jay continue her self-destructive ways? Will the girls get adopted by the boys? Can the girls overcome their nightmares, panic attacks etc, and become 'normal' teens? She is full-blown self-taught how to fight and she even learned how to use swords. Can a sorting someone calm her down before she kills someone cause they got her pissed off and she wants to kill them for it? After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive. I won't write warnings above each chapter, because most of them contain violence, blood, torture, etc. Constructive criticism is welcome. Ow, and English is not my first, second or third language. So if I mess up somewhere, let me know! Description: In a dystopian world, where the strongest prevails, having peace is a luxury. Especially when someone from the past is out to destroy everything we have built up over the past 15 years. And with Christmas approaching, our group get to face ten hellish days. Preview: In his fury, the chains have rubbed his wrists and neck raw, despite me trying to calm him down. He suddenly calms down when the screams in the cell next to us switch to the sound of bones breaking. Now he sits with foam on his lips and his eyes wide, looking that way. After ten minutes, the sounds of the boys in our cell have died down, and we all look at the wall that separates us from the crackling of the breaking bones. And then suddenly all is quiet. After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her.

In a world where people can be born with a genetic mutation that gives them powers, surely you'd think everything would be like a comic book right? Well you'd be wrong. People born with this gene are called "Conduits", or Bio-terrorrists if your in the majority who hate them. Conduits are viewed as monsters who only bring evil to the world, and are captured by the "Department of Unified Protection" or "D.U.P" for short. The D.U.P takes these conduits to a prison known as Curden Cay Station and do God knows what to them. So you can imagine that finding out one day that you are one of these conduits would be an extremely bad situation to be in, and unfortunately for our freshly graduated main protagonist, he is about to find out just how dark this world can be. With the death of his lover at the hands of a conduit during their escape from the D.U.P, will our protagonist fall to his anger and seek vengeance for his lover's death? Or will he prevail and choose to be the better man in a world where the better people are at risk?
