These are not, however, tales of gore, but of survival, struggle, triumph and failure over the final force in the Universe which shall eventually claim us all: Death. In some of these tales, Death is personified, others, a cold abstract force, laying claim to the Universe. In all of them, how we deal with life is just as important as how we deal with Death.
