Gajeel is the son of Metalicana, former werecat clan leader. For his eighteenth birthday, he must travel to the nearby human city and search for a mate to rule the clan by his side--a human girl that he must turn into one of his kind. When he travels into the city, he stumbles upon a small bookshop/coffee shop, where he notices a small blunette working behind the counter. Once night falls the man steals her away to be his own, but things are just beginning. Not only is the small woman reluctant to join the clan of werecats, there is also something awful brewing up that may cause Levy her life.

They need each other. But how will it turn out and will they still need each other when her mum wakes?
