A 'Mortal Instruments' Fanfiction - Takes place after City of Bones and is set in a world where Valentine had died in the first book. After this Clary went away to train at the Shadowhunter Academy. One day when Clary came back to visit the New York institute, she had overheard a conversation which changed her whole life. Clary runs from everything she once knew and finds a new life. Years later, the New York institute are in need of help and ask the best there is for her services. They just didn't realise it was Clary that was coming to the rescue.
