That is what they led us to believe.
Once in a few decades a total of 3 Guardian Angels become visible and continues it's duty in flesh and blood to protect the family it was given.
Amani, Ethan and I were given orders and learned the consequence of failing; becoming a fallen one. Rumours spread around and made us believe that you'll be in agonizing pain forever.
