in emmanuel's opinion, whoever made up the term "REST IN PEACE" should go die again because that is the one thing the dead can't do. while emmanuel is completely disregarded in the living world, he's a celebrity icon among the dead for being able to see and interact them.
constantly visited by ghosts ranging from horror-movie-copycats to terrible flirts to just straight up petty, emmanuel has been forcefully handed the job of consoling the dead through their own deaths.
