Those were the three main things that really mattered the most in Ben Slater's life. He was an only child, born and raised by his mother's best friend; Megan McDonald. Ben's parents never married, for they had Ben at a very young age. When Ben turned four years old, his mother dropped him off at Megan's doorstep and stole money from Ben's grandfather so she could continue to buy drugs.
Ben grew up, never really caring about his stoner of a mother and his absent father. Yes, at some points in his life it had bothered him, but most of the time he would live his life happily and make sure he was always loving each moment.

Ben has a passion for music. He's a singer, and he plays every instrument that would come to mind. Guitar, piano, ukelele, bass, drums, violin, cello, harp, and even the harmonica. When Ben decides to head with his friends to a local house party, he meets the shadowed character of Caleb Jaggers.
Will Caleb, the son of the vice president of Warner Bros. Records, be Ben's key to success in the music industry? Or will he be the true love he's been searching for ever since he lost his parent's love?

With just one moment under the stars, on a trampoline, change Ben's life forever? Or will everything crash and burn to an end that never ceased to exist?
