The Fates, three powerful woman. Clotho, the spinner, who spins the thread of life. Lachesis, the measurer, who chooses the lot in life one will have and measures off how long it is to be. And finally, Atropos, she who cannot be turned, who at death with her shears cuts the thread of life. The Fates are believed just too be a Greek myth- many, oh so many, believe that. And in this case, sixteen year old Ariana Semana believes that too. Currently a Junior in high school, and currently learning about The Fates in her Greek Mythology class. When one night she falls asleep, she is awoken to see the one and only Atropos in front of her, looking worn and old. Atropos explains to Ariana that she has grown weak all of a sudden, and somehow has chosen Ariana to fill in her place till Atropos can figure out what is happening to her and can grow her power back. Ariana of course, accepts cause she has no other choice, but has no idea what is going on- even thinking she has gone insane. At night, she gets warped to this dark cave, who holds Clotho and Lachesis. As time goes by, Atropos grows weaker and weaker, till she can barely stand, and it's up to Ariana to figure out what is happening to her, while maintaining her duty of kil- ahem, cutting thread, and keeping her school life in check.
