In 2013-2014, I went on exchange to Finland with an organisation named AFS Intercultural Programs. When I came back to Belgium, I became a volunteer for them. Here's a piece I wrote after the first camp I participated in as a volunteer

How I Fell For Him
A SuFin short story about Finland realizing his feelings for the big and intimidating country. This story takes place after the two nations decide to leave Denmark and return to their own homes. I've always wondered how they became so close and so decided to imagine it myself! I hope you'll like it! * Very cringy, and inaccurate, and full of mistakes, plot holes, and incoherences. I honestly don't understand why (so many) people like this... every time I read one part of it, I'm ready to delete it, but then it's still one of my earliest works, and i used to be proud of it, so why not keep it there... I also considered rewriting it, but I already have so much to write and I'm very lazy so if you still want to read this story you know what's ahead now 👍🏼Lengkap

My Little, Abandoned Omegas
"Help us..." I look down, seeing two twins sitting on the ground, backs leaning against the wall. As it rains I can see them trembling pitifully in the cold rain, as I was warm under my umbrella. They both clung to one another and it made me remember when I was younger and loved my sibling... Now seeing people with their siblings sickens me. "I will be of no use to help you Omegas." I say with a sneer at the edge of my voice, smirking as I feel satisfied. As I walk on, my feet become planted in the ground. My expensive boots become flooded with rain as I can't seem to move from my spot. But this smell... No, it can't be. I feel claws growing slowly, my breathing becoming heavy as my vision blurs in this already blurry world. I twist around, seeing those twins looking up at me with horror in their eyes. I start stepping towards them. "Stay away, please!" One of them gets up, standing in front of other, trying to protect his weaker twin. I grab his wrist, my claws sinking into his skin. You don't really discover things until you travel. You meet new people, learn new things, experience more opportunities. It's like putting yourself in another person's shoes. Traveling opens yourself up to the world. You realize that there is so much out there, so much you want to discover and so much that you will never know. Follow your heart and do what your gut tells you because what is meant to be will end up happening. Don't doubt it. This is just a story of me and my adventures in Germany as an exchange student this current year. It may be a boring story for some people, or exciting for others. Maybe you will find it interesting. Travels With Brian
Nearly arrested several times, often lost (sometimes on purpose), and dealing with unconscious travellers, lost luggage, delayed connections and even a lorry load of spilled toilet rolls, travelling has given me a plethora of experiences. Combine that with a slightly neurodiverse approach to life in general, a dyslexic understanding of signage and whatever else life seems to throw at me I don't think I've ever had a dull trip. But one wonderful constant is people. There's usually someone around who will help the occasionally lost and confused, and I thank all of them for helping navigate me through many different countries and trips. Now, where was I? Ah yes. I sighed heavily as I scanned the forest. I had heard something or someone to be specific, wandering about. I decided I would leave once I affirmed they weren't a danger. "What are you doing in my land, human?" A deep enchanting voice spoke I sighed once again "I'm not human, just smell like one" I spoke as I turned around to see the most stunning man I have ever seen "Mate" he spoke "Find another female, Lycan" I spat He only growled at me in response. Men. My brother was the same way. It's kinda funny how all, correction, most shifter men think alike. I would've thought he would be different, after all, he is Lycan. Something of myths. But then again, so are the supernatural. I turned away from him, not even looking at him. I didn't want to remember what he looked like so I didn't give him a second glance. I heard him move closer. I quickly grabbed the knife out of my holster and threw it at a tree next to him. He stops moving then. "Heed my warning. It's the only one you'll get" I spoke coldly "I will find you. Then you will have no escape from me" he spoke as he backed away I could understand. Lycans, like lion-shifters, were going extinct. Therefore mates were even more important to them. But, even if I understood I still didn't want to be someone's mate.
