All seemed to be going well, until Zelda comes face to face with a  more pressing issue: being forced to return to Hyrule to become queen. Because a queen cannot rule without a king, a gentle prince, Elvin, steps into the picture, already arranged to marry Zelda and rule beside her. Link, with his future now jeopardized with Zelda, is ready to take action in order to get Zelda back, however, the obstacles he encounters will really test his faith.

There will be quite a lot of angst so if you're not okay with that, then please don't read my book. There will be rather graphic descriptions of war and battles, and self-harm and depression will trigger some of you, but there are no sexual scenes, nor swearing. When Zelda is forced to marry a tyrant that would bring her country to ruin, she lashes out at her new husband. The new King plots against her so he can have the kingdom and the Triforce for himself but Zelda has many friends in Hyrule. She must leave Hyrule Castle, her home, with no one but a knight at her side. She leaves with a promise, a promise to return some day, an army at her side and retake her kingdom, liberating her subjects from the King's tyranny. This is a Zelink story but I doubt it will be as good as my first Zelink story, 'A Princess Problem' but let's give it a try. Zelink AU Medieval Fanfiction Zelda, currently Princess of Hyrule wishes to see the world outside of the castle. Her father expects her to marry one of the chosen suitors to prepare Hyrule's next King, but she doesn't like the sight of any of them. Link is a Hylian knight with a tragic past. Being secretive and closed off is how he prefers to live. He has a quest he believes he must do alone-to find his older sister. But Hyrule is subject to an unknown danger, within itself. I don't think I'm super great at medieval writing...(knowing the time period, vocabulary, descriptions, etc...) but I tried anyways! Sorry for the unappetizing description.
