It was Deans first year of high school, he didn't expect to make lots of friends and it didn't worry him, he was never really a people person. He didn't want to end up hurt again. That was until he met a nerdy freshmen named Castiel.
Castiel is top of his class with no time for socializing, he prefers books over people anyway at least those won't break his heart.
On the first day of school the two boys end up sitting next to each other in first period, and every class period following. They quickly develop a bond and hope that maybe they can help each other find some kind of peace within their own little bits of chaos.
