Her obligations are no long household chores but making sure her team stays safe in times of crisis. Best friends are now business partners and nothing more. Ashley would kill to get her old life back, but that's exactly what they want her to do. The only thing she has left of her old life is her humanity and she will not let them take that from her. Life as a superhero isn't working out for Ashley and she wants out.
