Druides get to start their magic lessons, Fairies get their powers to protect the nature, Nymphes get to come to the magic shrines and Centaurs learn how to use an enchanted bow. Ailith Merwyn Lendric lives in a small village called Dionypha, in the treetops of the Moonfell Wood. Ailith is a Glade. She has to watch everybody around her develop their magic skills while she plants crops and repairs houses. Glades are not special, they don't get to develop their magic and they will certainly never be famous. For years and years the Raising Sun Day ritual has been the same. The tree of wisdom releases its leaves and as they touch the youngsters they turn into adults. However this year the tree has planned something else. With Skyward Castle attacking they Kindom of Imega the country needs a hero. And that hero happens to live in Dionypha.

After an irreversible encounter when she was young, Sigrid has had to keep her true self a secret. She's a werewolf and no one in her family knows. They move around a lot, and when they land in Merriweather, Pennsylvania, she expects everything to be unimportant and behind her in four months. In walks Theo, the next Beta of the Sunshade Pack. Merriweather is his home and will be for the rest of his life. He's an outgoing person, and completely off Sigrid's radar. That is, until they accidentally realize they're mates. Forget Sigrid trying to ignore Theo, as if that'll solve her problems. There are deadly secrets that will do everything to keep them apart and tear the Sunshade pack to pieces. Everyone they know and love is put at risk if these secrets are revealed. What will happen when Sigrid must go beyond the call of duty to help those she hardly knows? Will Theo ever conquer his mate's stubbornness? (Read to find out! ;) And this is PG-13 for some deaths at the end.)
