Despite being born from the stars, Polaris was proof of the oath that Artemis broke. The oath to never ever be with a man or have a child. It is because of the broken oath that Polaris has been hidden with the Hunters of Artemis her entire life, never having any contact with the world outside of the woods.
But when Polaris' mother is banished with Apollo and Hera, Polaris is dragged along. It isn't long before three demigods on a quest to save the world from Gaea come upon Polaris, her mother, and her uncle, asking for help. It's safe to say that the demigods get a lot more than they asked for when Polaris comes along, ultimately releasing the last lines of prophecy of seven and changing the fate of the world.
