Six tumblr using, music obsessed, mostly gay whovians- the worst people for the job. However, with self-hatred fueled determination, superpowers, and lots and lots of cake, anything is possible. Even taking down the biggest super villain in the world. But is Lady Me truly the hardest force? In a world filled with superhumans, the powerless charlie cycle struggles to keep his life together. It only gets worse when on his way home hes pulled into a choke hold and shot. But instead of dying, his life was saved by the sentient living slime who holds a few.... secrets. When charlie finds out about said gooper, The slime gives the excuse that, they cant leave Charlie's body yet, since, he still isnt fully healed from the bullet wound. Being to tired to argue, he puts up with the slime for the next few months. In which time, the slime was able to convince him to go out for one night as a vigilante, just to try it :) unfortunately, that one night led to a run in with the most dangerous villains in the city, the syndicate. Causing him to get roped into the syndicates plan to take over the government. Although things only get worse when he finds out the syndicates number one target, is his childhood best friend jschlatt, who charlie lost contact with once he got into the presidency. Things only get worse and worse over time as he gets more and more involved with this anarchist scheme. Chaos ensues Along with....other, plots of revenge. With Jack, her grizzled older mentor with secrets that could shake the world, and Pantheon, a new team of heroes, Hope will have to fight against monumental odds to save Oleander City. In a world of action, comedy, tragedy, and adventure, there's plenty for a new hero to do. *Readers can expect a mostly adventure-themed superhero journey that will include a slice of life, action, and hopefully exciting world-building. It will also contain a slow-burn GL/Yuri plotline, which I'll eventually get to when I feel like it, I guess. Chaos's arch nemesis is Phantom- the Villain Magazine's #1 of Hottest Villains, and the only person who can take Kelsey's snarky remarks and throw them right back at her. When Phantom tells Chaos that her best friend and co-superhero is in major trouble, Kelsey jumps to help. But in order to fight the major villains, one has to be a major hero, and Chaos is not. She'll need Phantom's help and her brain to both keep Phantom from finding out her true identity, and to keep her and her best friend alive.
