Bella Masterson was stuck between wanting to find a fairy tale true love of her own and putting to rest disputes between the Mastersons and the Du Mauriers, families well known on both sides of the Manderley river in late 18th century England. But hell breaks loose when she catches the eye of the man who leads her to her grave. When she wakes, she opens her eyes to a whole new world centuries later and must find her family across the Atlantic in America and the man who took her life. Bella comes to realize there's something not quite entirely human about the rest of the population around her either all while taking the popularity crown at Riley Palm High, meeting boys hot enough to eat, and keeping her fangs and manicure clean. Fabulously, of course.
